Scope of Works
The Brief
A private developer engaged Novus Projects to deliver three new residences on Berrigan Street in Nollamara. Devised by Mark Anthony Design, the development comprises three 155m² homes under a $1.3M contract.
The project is being delivered as a standard residential development with a full turn-key finish. This includes the homes themselves as well as the external works, internal selections and finishing details required to bring the development together.
The build is currently in pre-construction, with an anticipated 12 month timeline. With three residences forming the one development, the brief calls for a consistent finish across the site while giving each home its own personality.
Design & Materials
The material choices establish a consistent base across the three residences. Feature face brick is used across the elevations, while concrete brick paving is specified throughout the external areas. High-quality landscaping is also included within the scope, carrying the finish through from the buildings to the surrounding site.
Inside, tile and cabinetry selections were part of the specification for each home, providing the primary opportunity to fine tune the character of each residence.
A Distinctive Finish for Every Home
Each of the three homes will have its own colour scheme, rather than applying one palette across the development. The different internal selections offer the residences a degree of individuality that isn’t always present in grouped housing.
This creates three distinct residences within the single project as opposed to a development where every home presents the exact same internal finish. The homes can thus share the same standard of quality while having their own identity.
